Fire risk assessments
If you have control of a building, you have duties under section 18(2) of the Fire Services Acts 1981 and 2003, and employers must assess workplace risks, including fire, under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. Legionella risk assessments and sampling
Legionella bacteria can grow in hot and cold water systems that are warm, stagnant or poorly maintained. We look at the hazards in your premises, who could be at risk, escape routes, fire doors, detection and alarm, emergency lighting, firefighting equipment, storage and housekeeping, then give you a written report with practical actions.
We review your hot and cold water system, including tanks, pipework, hot water plant, outlets such as showers and taps, and any equipment that holds or sprays water, along with temperatures and records. It supports your duty to manage health risks under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
Yes. Samples go to an independent accredited laboratory. Results are not instant, and we tell you when to expect yours.
