Fire risk assessments in Greystones
Under section 18(2) of the Fire Services Acts 1981 and 2003, the person having control of most premises must take reasonable measures to guard against fire and to protect people if one occurs. A fire risk assessment looks at how a fire could start, who is at risk, escape routes, detection and alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors and extinguishers, and gives you a written report with a prioritised action list. Read what happens during a fire risk assessment visit, or see our fire risk assessments page.
Legionella risk assessments and sampling in Greystones
Legionella bacteria can grow in building water systems that are warm, stagnant or poorly maintained. A Legionella risk assessment looks at tanks, hot and cold water systems, showers and little-used outlets, and recommends practical controls such as temperature checks, flushing and cleaning. We also arrange water sampling and tank cleaning and disinfection. See our Legionella risk assessments page, Legionella testing and how to flush little-used outlets.
